Our tee time was 8:30am at the Volcano Golf Course. The first text message was "Volcano is starting to bubble over." Episode 51 was starting. The course reported no vog. We agreed to play as long as there are no rocks raining down on us. Uh oh, there's an ominous plume on the drive up. As we started to play, the eruption intensified. By the #10 tee, the lava fountain was visible over the trees. It sounded like a jet taking off. By the time we finished, the fountain stopped. On the drive back, we passed a 2 mile line of cars waiting to get into the park.
They don't call it Volcano Golf course for nothing.
